Empathy is a very important word to me. That is the reason I have it tattooed on my arm. I feel for humans and animals a lot. I have 'compassion' on another arm, and my next tattoos are 'strength', and 'kindness'. All these are on my forearms so that when people meet me they will see these words. These are my small ads to the world I want to help bring about with my sharing and my heart.
Life is short. I believe we have to use our heart as much as we can before our last breath is exhaled. We all have a song.
“We need another and a wiser and perhaps a more mystical concept of animals. Remote from universal nature and living by complicated artifice, man in civilization surveys the creature through the glass of his knowledge and sees thereby a feather magnified and the whole image in distortion. We patronize them for their incompleteness, for their tragic fate for having taken form so far below ourselves. And therein do we err. For the animals shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours, they move finished and complete, gifted with the extension of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings: they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendor and travail of the earth.” -Henry Beston
(The crazy thing about this site is you don't know if some people are on here anymore. It could be pictures from years ago and they have already moved on. This may be the last month I am on this site, and actually dating sites in general. The whole thing is so tricky for me. I wish everyone well that is sincerely looking for a significent other to share your life with.)
