Vegan diet.
Hi, I'm Dee.
Snapshot: I'm pet-free, debt-free, tattoo-free, and free to travel. I rarely watch tv. I've lived in Florida for 20 years. Flip flops are the norm. No worries though, I clean up well and am comfortable with or without make up.
Quality time and physical touch are our primary love languages. We prioritize emotional intimacy, compassion, communication and humor. We love outdoor activities together. I'm an adventurous woman who enjoys sunsets, beach, snorkeling, walking, yoga, bicycling, starry night skies, road trips, and more. I'm fun-loving, curious, practical, and creative.
Occupation: First job: Cake decorator (I appreciate good food presentation), Longest (current): Landlord, condo, single family, and commercial. Most intellectually stiumulating and rewarding: Assistant to Pres/Owner of small-to-mid retail chain/niche biz.
Education: University of Florida. Pursued a business degree in my 40s.
Professional culinary courses: online and hands-on; in the US and Spain, raw and cooked vegan. If you're a happy eater I'm sure we’ll get along well. I love to read, learn, and engage others on the topic of health and plant based nutrition.
Spiritual authors who influenced me in my 30s: Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Neale Donald Walsh, Eckhart Tolle, and more. Personal growth & development have been part of my life since I was a teenager. Zig Ziglar and Tony Robbins in my 20s.
Vacation: I love to make memories exploring with my partner, internationally or domestically, doing new-to-us things, seeing new places, and sometimes going back to favorites. Warm, sunny/tropical destinations light me up, make me feel sensual.
I’m up for colder places too, but no longer into ski trips however, if skiing is your thing, go and have a great time. My idea of camping is an African Safari viewing animals. Otherwise, tents aren’t my thing. Why? Hmmm.. bugs, bears, and bigfoot.
Plant station: Begininning in 1997, I randomly began eliminating Standard American Diet foods which didn't love me back. It was an evolution toward optimal health. I've eaten a whole foods plant based diet since 2006, long before vegan junk food was around. I take no meds or drugs, not even coffee. I'm content as a simple eater - sometimes a pound of sweet organic blueberries does it for me, maybe eating my fill of mangos or figs will make my day, or maybe a giant salad of local hydroponic greens is perfect. Maybe a coconut curry is what's for dinner. I'm oil free as much as possible, always at home. I don't need you to eat like me.
Since you got this far, tell me about you. Where do you want to go? Describe the adventure!
