I am a very honest, hard working, down to earth, and sincere person. I value my children, family, and friends greatly. I am pretty easy going, and enjoy simple things in life, and try to find humor where I can. I don't need stuff, (actually trying to simplify my living style), just experiences with those I care about.  I am a lover of the outdoors, hiking, biking, backpacking, kayaking, love it all. I am pretty active, but would love to have someone to share those things with.  I also love going to see live music, but don't get to as much as I would like.I would also love to find someone to cook with, it does not come natural to me, so doing it with a partner would make it fun.??

I have 2 adult children that live with me most of the time. That will most  likely be changing this year as they move into their own lives. I have a cat right now, as I travel a lot for work. I really hope to have more furry friends at some point. Would love to have a pig, they are so sweet!! But for sure a dog or two.

I am vegan, which is a very big part of who I am. I went vegetarian almost 30 years ago aftet learning about the reality behind the meat and dairy industry. I also raised my children veg.  I am trying to be much more involved with causes that matter to me. The last 2 years I have tried to be a stronger voice for the animals, participating in more outreach events, and volunteering at a farm sanctuary.  We all need to try and do more to make this world a better place.  I am working towards a more zero waste lifestyle, or as close to it as I can get.
