I am a woman who has grown a lot on a deeply personal and emotional level, in the last 5 or so years; the external factors and circumstances don't matter, I'm just gratedful to have had the lessons at the right time, for me to recognize them and gain value from them. I can't say I'm fond of getting older, but I can say with confidence, that I'm very glad for the wisdom that comes with it :)

I am a complex, and very nice person. I am loving, sweet, thoughtful, goofy, entertaining, supportive, smart, witty, gentle, caring, and unique; of course there needs to be some balance in each of us, so my counterweights to all of that goodness, is that I can be quite stubborn, but never mean or insulting about it, and I can be quite opinionated about many topics - some more than others, so because I've lived by myself for 10 out of the last 22 yrs (not consecutively, though), I've learned how to do things, and how to fix things, and manage a home/property, solo, and I'm proud of how self-reliant I've been, even at super challenging times. I point that out, as a disclaimer, should I connect with someone here, so that you won't be caught off guard by my friendly, good-intentioned know-it-all slip ups ;o) You'll see, I'm pretty easy to forgive!

I'm not a girly-girl; I cherish my tool collection, and my truck, and unless I have to dress for the office or going out, I'll be in jeans, Ts, hoodies, boots or flip-flops, I aim for comfort, casual and practical, over being fashionable. I do know how to get gussied up, though, and can do a nice job of it :)

I live my life, with my spirit 100% commited to animal welfare - I am one of the many voices, for the immeasurable number of voiceless innocents; I may be limited in how I can contribute to stopping the senseless suffering and death, but my primary focus is just that, no matter what I'm doing to maintain survival (ie: working, income, etc...) How we as a species, evolved into such evil, selfish, unfeeling and dark-souled creatures, I will never understand.

I am a fierce vegan, who over the years, has learned that figuratively hitting others over their heads with certain bits of factual information, despite how compelling it may be, is not always the best way to convince them that to be vegan, is to be doing the right thing, so I have mellowed, but I've not lost the fire that I began my jourmey with, and I can't imagine I ever will.

I am politically opinionated, but I don't bully people, I will however always be glad to contribute to a respectful, fact-based discussion about current affairs - and not the current affairs churned out by lamestream media - they are lying to us all, most of the time. Sorry, brief rant, there ;)
