I'm a 21 year old muslim. I'm also a vegan. I absolutely love animals and nature. I enjoy any outdoor activity, but am an avid lover of all things related to hiking. I enjoy working out, eating healthy, being in nature, reading, and taking every oppurtunity to gain knowledge-particularily in both my religion and activism. I believe that to be a good muslim, you should be vegan as it is both morale and ethical, as well as necessary for the future survival of all species on earth, and for our earth itself. I came to veganism via a dietary standpoint as I was always inspired to be a nutritionist, however, I soon became aware of the horrors of all forms of exploitation and made the ethical connection as well. More about me: im very very shy. I grew up in a physically, psychologically, and emotionally abusive household. That being said, please handle me gently.... As I'm immensely fearful of talking to people or being social and I would appreciate if you would allow me to slowly ease into society and learn how to conversate with fellow people. I rarely speak to anyone and usually act as if I'm deaf in order to avoid comversation, that is how intensively my social anxiety affects my life. I'm always kind, as I truly cant fathom how people have the ability to be mean to another human being. It just doesnt make sense. Sometimes I have no hope for humanity, as ive been let down and treated poorly many many times. Ive found that it's because people view me as younger than I am, but that doesnt excuse their poor behavior. Anyways, once I get comfortable with you... I'm very fun and have a great sense of humor. Yes, I am divorced but that's a long story. But in short, he was sweet... I was sweet... He was just a foreigner and we spent years upon years battling for his visa. In the end, he was permanently denied acces to America and we had exhausted all other options. It was sad, but it was better for both of us to part ways instead of wear each other down.
