I believe very strongly in the concept of karma. I am seeking someone who shares the same overall values, and moral and spiritual outlook that I do. In essence, I am a vegan for moral, spiritual, ethical, and health reasons and I am seeking the same. As far as spiritual beliefs and personal lifestyle are concerned, I believe in living a lifestyle that is as close to nature as possible, and I believe in practicing the concept of self-sufficiency and adherence to the physical, spiritual, moral, and ethical laws of karmic nature. My spiritual outlook in life is of a more Eastern (Buddhist/Ancient Hindu (Vedic)/Jainist/Taoist), Ancient Gnostic, and New Age/Metaphysical orientation and influence. All of the aforementioned spiritual belief systems and practices have helped to shape my own personal, spiritual belief system and practice at this point in my life.

I would describe myself as moderate in a political sense, although I'm not generally a politically-oriented individual overall. In some respects, I'm more "conservative"-leaning, and, in others, I'm more "liberal"-minded. It really all depends on the particular issue in question. You can say that my personal, political viewpoint is more aligned with Libertarian (Independent) and Green Party politics than either Democrat or Republican. Examples of issues on which I take a more "conservative"-leaning approach and viewpoint: I do not agree with nor support affirmative action, racial quotas, lowering standards to accommodate the lesser-qualified, and reparations (using U.S. taxpayer dollars); I do not support, agree with, nor subscribe to political correctness (on the other hand, I do support the unadulterated truth and reality and do not believe in withholding or refusing to speak the truth just because some individuals may find the truth to be a little too uncomfortable, inconvenient, offensive, and/or threatening); I do not agree with nor support abortion (especially mid-to-late-term abortion), except in certain instances and under certain circumstances only; and I do not personally agree with nor support homosexuality and gay marriage (although, with that said, I should state that I do support the right of two mutually-consenting adult individuals to engage in whatever lifestyle that they see fit).

Examples of issues on which I take a more "liberal"-leaning viewpoint and approach: I am 100% pro-peace and do not agree with nor support the imperialistic waging of war on foreign soil, as well as the killing and mass murder of innocent civilians (which far too often includes women, children, infants, and the elderly), all funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars (I do, however, support the presence and institution of a domestic military or military-style defense force instituted solely for national defense purposes (i.e., as protection and defense against invasion and attack by a foreign, invading military force, or any other such similar threat domestically)); I believe in and support gender equality and equal rights for women (in the truest sense of the word or phrase, that is), as well as most (non-radical) feminist theories and principles (by "truest sense of the word or phrase," I'm referring to "equality" that is not artificially-mandated and imposed by such things as affirmative action, gender-based quotas, and the lowering of standards in order to accommodate those that are not capable of meeting the minimum standards required); I believe in the separation of church and state, and my spiritual beliefs and philosophical outlook run counter to and are often at odds with nearly all authoritarian, literalist, dogmatic, fundamentalist, and patriarchal religious belief systems; I believe in retaining my maiden surname and not having it supplanted or replaced by my husband's surname in marriage; and I am an ethical, primarily organic, plant-based consuming vegan who believes wholeheartedly in animal rights, and am one that does not support the use of U.S. taxpayer funding to finance the subsidization of conventional (i.e., factory farmed) meat, eggs, and dairy, and all of the inherent and institutionalized cruelty, inhumanity, and barbarism that such industries entail.

As far as musical tastes and preferences go, I am generally into sounds that connect and strike a deep, visceral chord within me depending upon my particular mood at the given moment. Oftentimes, I find myself in the mood for something soft, relaxing, soothing, and tranquil, and on other occasions, I find myself in the mood for something more stimulating, exciting, and virtuosic. In either case, I'm drawn to sounds that evoke an in-depth feeling of positive vibrations and spiritual upliftment. The musical genres that I listen to include indie, alternative, classical, instrumental, fast virtuosic flamenco, fusion, new age, and world music, among some other interesting genres.

As far as movies, film, and video go, I prefer documentaries, independent film, instructional video, reality-based personal and non-commercial videos courtesy of YouTube (and other online video hosting venues), and online educational lectures and video of an inspiring, informative, educational, and spiritually-enhancing nature (i.e., Gaiam TV, Spiritual Cinema Circle, Supreme Master TV, and the monthly video lectures of the Vegetarian Society of Hawaii (VSH), among others) ... as opposed to television sitcoms, commercial Hollywood-type films, and mainstream media news outlets and programming.

Some additional information about me: I am also what is known as an intactivist. I believe that routine neonatal infant male circumcision is a crime against nature and humanity. Except in the most extreme medical circumstances, male circumcision, in general, whether conducted in infancy or at a later stage in life, is an unnecessary and barbaric practice of sexual mutilation that can have a permanent, largely irreversible negative effect on an individual's natural sexual functioning throughout his life ... leading to common sexual problems and issues such as premature ejaculation (common in circumcised males under the age of 35), erectile dysfunction, erection difficulties, significantly decreased penile sensitivity, difficulty attaining orgasm, tight and often painful erections, etc., in males (with most of these issues very common and prevalent among older circumcised males over the age of 40 that progressively worsens over time); and friction, dryness, painful intercourse (dyspareunia), extreme discomfort, soreness, involuntary vaginal tightness resulting in penetration difficulties (vaginismus), and difficulty and inability to attain orgasms in females, among other issues. These are problems and issues that, for the most part, cannot be alleviated or remedied by artificial lubricants and other similar and superficial "band-aid" type of remedies common in circumcising cultures and societies. All of these problems and issues can have a very negative, detrimental effect on the physical aspects of an individual's future relationships which, in turn, can have major negative spillover effects on other important, non-physical aspects of those relationships. It is for these reasons that I wholeheartedly support the foreskin restoration and foreskin regeneration movement and initiative both here and abroad.
