I recently moved from a large city to a small town in Vermont. My ultimate wish is to find that ineffable spark with someone who also happens to be a really awesome friend, but at this point I'm just seeing what's out there. Meeting new people without any expectations seems like a nice place to start. If something more develops, then great, and if not, then perhaps a new friendship is made.

Making deliberate lifestyle choices is a big part of who I am, and I try to live simply in a way that minimizes harm to others and the planet. I worked for an animal rights organization for years and while I've moved on to another career, the cause is still near and dear to my heart.

Fun for me means random road trips; outdoorsy activities like hiking, cycling, wading in rivers; indoorsy pastimes like movies and theater; making new vegan recipes; spending time with friends; hosting or going to potlucks; good conversation. Other interests include botany, startups and entrepreneurship, photography, and ballet (studied it for years).
