Raw food diet.
I went raw about a year. The diet is horrific but very rewarding. Apparently if you go raw you can never go back because your body becomes so sensitive it's like going through a tunnel & you can't return. I'll never give up croissants though, or french bread :( especially how they are prepared in juan les pins....parched toasted black with raspberry jam, the host mother made them every morning, it was like heaven, I went to study the language way back. I really get a kick out of raw food cooking, uncooking it's termed, like there's a way to make raw crispie treats out of puffed quinoia and almond butter...okay isn't life so exciting, these are the little kicks and secrets. I dig Andean superfoods and there's a way to make raw caramel. I always wanted to book out a commercial kitchen and have cooking parties, like that Italian commercial where they sneak into the hotel kitchen at night and dodge through the elevator, I think it's a spaghetti sauce commercial.
I'm into writing & arts, photography & acting, Peruvian orphans, textiles, whippet dogs, llamas, entrepreneur stuff/products & ventures.
I am fascinated by twins and write about them. Not like I want to have twins, that's a crap shoot, but like somewhere out there, there could be this identical twin that you've never met, who is infinitely more intelligent than you are.

I have deep love and respect for animals, and have found happiness in living congruently with my values. Looking into the soulful eyes of a curly haired cow led me to become vegetarian at the age of 12. Veganism knocked down my door in February 2016. I enjoy preparing and sharing food and think it's cool that I can eat raw cookie dough now :).
Much of my time is spent in nature, observing wildlife, mountain biking, hiking, backcountry skiing, kayaking and sharing time with friends and my dogs. I can also be found volunteering at companion animal shelters, farm sanctuaries, or wildlife rehabilitation facilities.
I'm curious about the world and seek new understanding, experience and perspective. Living lightly and genuinely is important to me. And when I'm not advocating for animal rights and environmental issues, I value having fun and being human.

Hello, I'm a Christian who loves animals. I'm somewhere between a vegetarian and a vegan. I see dominion and being a good steward as including caring for God's creation by not eating or harming animals. I'm friendly and kind of goofball. I love photography and gardening. I have two kids, a 21-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son. Their biologial father is no longer involved in any of our lives, so you don't have to worry about any ex drama. I live in rural Vermont and greatly enjoy nature. I'm not sure what else to add here, but feel free to ask me! :)

I have been an ethical vegetarian since 1981. I am a young 60, and am ethnically Jewish. I am an online bookseller, and I also volunteer for my local timebank and restorative justice center.
Here, in no particular order, (except for the dog :-), are some of the things I enjoy: my rescue chihuahua, and penguin cat, folk music, tag sales, bartering, movies (especially indie films and psychological dramas), 420, non-violent communication, reading, Scrabble, podcasts, poetry, journal writing, and time alone.

Been vegetarian sence high school, almost ten years, did at first for a diet and keep it up. I like working with my hands, and making things better. Used to install and wire solar and small wind. I run folding at home on my computer and donate blood. Now I work at Tractor Supply Company. Looking for a new friend and maybe some more if it could work. I have a few pets a cat and pet chickens. I do eat their eggs, the ones they don't try to hatch. And some times stay vegan. I also like being in nature, like hiking. Any thing else just ask. I want another vegetarian.

I left an unfulfilling corporate job a year ago to attend law school to study animal law. After many years running various animal welfare volunteer groups in my free time I realized that the mosy powerful way to help animals was through the law.
I've been vegan for a little over 3 years and was vegetarian for about 7 prior to that. I have a passion for animal rights and animal welfare and have done all sorts of things from protests to cockfighting/dog fighting cases, animal disaster response, urban animal outreach, Native American reservation outreach, etc. I find passion in any work helping animals.
I have dabbled in Buddhism the last few years and found some peace there. I enjoy reading, traveling, long road trips, movies, shooting (rare for a vegan, I know), and good company.
Just seeing who is out there. Prefer people not programmed by their televisions and who think independently and passionately.

Hi, I'm Tim and I work in the field of GIS and mapping and also do some volunteer work with a conservation organization in Chocorua, NH. I've basically had a vegan diet since college believing that we should try to minimize our negative impacts on animals and the environment. I'm pretty independent, love good vegan food and like to get outside doing such things as walking, hiking, swimming, kayaking and cross-country skiing. As far as music goes, I mainly listen to independent/Americana/singer-songwriter type of stuff and like programs like Acoustic Cafe, Austin City Limits and Live From the Artists Den.

Chill, minimalist, free spirited, loving and understanding no matter the circumstances. Want to learn some yoga, meditate and exercise daily. Favorite thing currently: gardening and lying on the ground for hours with the sun on me and the chirping of birds flooding my ears.

Working on writing at the moment. Finishing up a collection of short stories and then starting on a novel. Taking a break from teaching and figuring out my next move.
Social justice is important to me, and I'm very concerned about the plight of non-human animals.

"She has the true Emily Dickenson spirit except she gets fed up occasionally" J.Thurber I try to value all life and the interconnected web between all life. I also value a good Bill Murray movie and watching grass grow. Animals and animal welfare are very important to me. Human rights are also very important as I feel that we have a role to play in caring for one another. Empathy is key. I look to nature for guidance and inspiration. I love to swim. Slightly sardonic. I am an educated, well travelled country girl. I also value arts and culture. I like to work with metal and clay. This morning I saw the most amazing little bird at my feeder. A yellow headed, feather covered sign of Spring.

Some things about me:
I am someone that thinks and functions best outside of "the box."
I am passionate, confident in who I am, and always evolving.
I readily challege the status quo and seek answers for questions that others believe cannot be answered.
I believe that non-human animals and human children are the most innocent and vulnerable beings in our existence and both should be adequately protected from the rest of the human population.
My awake hours are spent with a mind full of thought and I am never bored by it.
I love learning, tearing things apart (mentally, physically), and seeing how they work.
I enjoy travel (when I am able to travel), being involved with animal rescue, exploring vegan food options, being outside in the hot sun, being active, trying different things, being independent, and challenging myself.
I have been given the Myers Briggs personality type test a number of times over my adult life and have always tested as an, ENTP. While I do not like being labeled or put in a box, I can't help but identify with much of what is said of this type.

People describe me as laid back, easy going, kind and a good listener. I tend to take things in stride; freaking out never solves anything.
I've traveled quite a bit and really enjoy going to new places but as I get older am finding it to be less enjoyable alone. I'd love to find a travel partner. And by travel, I mean get in the car and drive wherever, camping along the way, meeting people and really experiencing the locale. I am not a fan of cruises, resorts or prepackaged travel of any kind.
I am not a super motivated or "go-getter" type of person. This doesn't mean I don't have goals or plans, I do and I work towards them, but I'm not the type of person who feels it necessary to get up and go for a run at 5am or have some high power job. I like things simpler; I live my life simply. I have few possessions and am trying to have fewer.
I like long walks in the woods and moderate hikes but I don't do any sports. Unless you count mushroom hunting (very amateur), bird watching (getting better) and gardening as sports :-).
I dream of having a pig sanctuary someday. I love cooking, baking, making jams, preserving the harvest and all the homesteading stuff, just don't have a permanent home.

The statistics are naturally appealing, for this petite, fit, spiritually motivated, woman with intuitive sensitivities, poetic talents and a compassionate respect for life. I meditate and practice yogic exercises regularly; love being surrounded by nature to bike, hike, garden etc.; am culturally adept; enjoy cooking vegan meals; am socially responsible; believe in the power of the mind, that dreams can come true and "miracles happen".

Hey! I'm a laid-back loner type who doesn't want to be a loner any more. I love all kinds of art (in school, I studied visual art), but I love anything that involves creativity and imagination. I also love animals, and pretty much all outdoor activities, especially horseback riding, hiking, skiing, sledding, swimming, biking, camping, etc. I currently work as an art teacher and a horse trainer/ riding instructor, so I spend a large part of my life working physically. I tend to stay pretty fit and strong. I am not a "girly girl," but if you are looking for someone who doesn't mind getting her hands dirty once and a while, I'm your gal. I'm interested in living in the country, driving an old truck on dirt roads, and having a simple life surrounded by loving people. Most of my friends live in NYC, so I travel there frequently, but I'm not really interested in living there full time. I am interested in being friends with genuine people who are funny and thoughtful and kind.
