I could be one of those people described as an "old hippy". I loved the sixties. Long hair, colorful clothing, peace signs. Now I'm a peace activist, feminist, artist and gardener. I'm really hoping to meet someone my age who is vegetarian, loves animals and plants, and really likes to grow things. You wouldn't have to live here, I've only been here a year myself, and hope to return to California or ???? (in a few years when my job here is done.) I am a spiritual person, I don't smoke, do drugs or gamble. I do like having a margarita once or twice a month, but that's all the drinking I do. I'm happiest when I'm in a natural setting. A few of my favorite spots are Moro Rock, the Point Loma Tide pools and Black Canyon.

Oh to advertise myself. I live in Las Vegas currently and constantly feel the pressure of the city closing in on me. I want to move to the country eventually and live a more peaceful existence. I love to cook and pride myself on outshining my favorite restaurants when it comes to gourmet vegan meals. I am a stay at home type who deplores television, loves to read and do art. I am a devotee of Ammachi and if you know who she is, bonus points to you. I could never be with someone atheist but I am very accepting of others' spiritual beliefs. In 29 years, this is what I have discovered about myself:(positive) I have a big heart and want to help children, animals and the elderly. I think things through and I think I take in more details than most. I express myself well. Now the not so positive: I am a sensitive person, not in the way that my feelings are hurt easily but that I react strongly to certain strong smells or anger or sadness of those around me. I am working to not have so much attachment to outcomes. I have ran out of space!

I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years and have also gone through phases of vegan and raw. I'm a very positive and upbeat person, and I try to always find the good side of any situation. I’m a professional, love to be barefoot, I try to live simply, not sweat the small stuff, and it is my goal to laugh every single day.
