I've been really focused on my spiritual journey the last 1 1/2 years. I love reading, particularly fantasy, sci-fi, and some good non-fiction, though I never seem to make time to do it. I have had several bouts with vegetarianism, but recently decided that it would be best for my overall health and conscience to go all the way. I work in a bookstore, and it's a lot of fun. Never a boring day. I can recommend a book on almost any topic, as long as there's no math involved. I love love love to cook, and spend lazy Sundays whipping up staples to have on hand all week; breads, dips, soups, and mock meats. All of this has really brought out the creative gourmet in me. It's also brought on a couple of pounds...but that is my next project.

Only been raw (about 80%)for a few months, but thrilled with the healthy results and weight loss! Started out by introducing one raw meal a day, then a 2nd and working toward 100% raw/vegan. Some days are 100% raw, but for travelling or being invited to someone's house for dinner or lunch who isn't raw, it's hard. Am fun-loving, like to travel and go on adventures, and enjoy dancing.
