Attempting to describe myself would just take the fun out of potential conversations. Simply put, I love life, I have right now and the only person I am better than is the person I used to be...trying to make improvements daily and recognizing the impact I leave on this place has great potential so I would like someone in my life who understands my need to find positive ways to affect everyone and everything around me. I love to laugh, dance, think, explore options to change the world, furry creatures (and not so furry ones too!), learn...and above all, I love to love...

I'm looking for the love that will last a lifetime. If you live nearby, that's great but I'm not opposed to hosting the right person so don't let geography stop you from taking the chance. I'm professionally employed, have a good home, a nice dog, a slightly warped sense of humor, and a bunch of toys. I've put in the work to develop myself into the man I was born to be; now I'm looking for that special someone to share it with. If you are intelligent, creative, sexually adventurous, & willing to put in the work to build a relationship that is lasting, passionate, and deeply fulfilling, then you have passed the first test. All else is negotiable.
I'm looking for adventure & deep connection with someone special & outrageous. I've never claimed to have all the answers & anyway, answers are somewhat over rated. Life is about living, not figuring it out.
I'll write more when I get it all figured out.

I'm idealistic, artistic. I prefer nature to crowds of people. I have a quick wit. I hold dear knowledge and learning. I try to live by the ethics I claim. Sometimes I'm impulsive, driven, or bounce off in strange tangents. I do stop to smell the roses, look at the moon, and marvel at world around me, even little green bugs with iridescent wings.I like to read, hike/walk. I like to plant, but I'm not good at weeding. I like creating events. Music- classical, progressive rock, new age/meditative, jazz/big band vocals.

mother, artist, farmer, spirit seeker... Loving the family life. Life isn't the same after looking at the world through my 6-year-old's eyes. I am so grateful for this opportunity in life. I am a recycled objects artist. I sew and sculpt. My materials usually come from the thrift store. I make veggie mosaics for the family farm. I sew cool clothes, diapers and household stuff for sale. I am a part of our family's fruits and vegetables farm. It is a great community farm that is reaching out to the world with refuggee farmers. The Karen from Burma are doing their much needed farming and we are providing them land, guidance, and retail outlets. This makes me so proud. Balance is something I strive to keep. Spiritual, physical, emotional, mental and artistic needs are kept in check and balanced.

First and foremost I'm going to throw out some words that describe me and the things I look for in others: open to new experiences, optimistic, spontaneous, open-minded, respectful, humorous, honest, aware, empathetic, health conscious, active, outgoing and considerate.
Second I'd like to list the things I like: playing racquetball (well I love this), reading poetry (attempt to write at times), listening to music, surprises, good movies, trying new and interesting vegan recipes (or restaurants), comedy shows, outdoor activities (hiking, biking, swimming, walking in the park), traveling, watching or going sporting events, being out on the water, and playing baseball with my nephews.
And finally I like to say I have the greatest job in the world, which is to teach young adults and advice them on their academic studies. I never imagined that teaching would be what I ended up doing with my life. When an opportunity presented itself, I hesitantly took it. I was scared, uncertain and wondered if it was something I'd enjoy. Now I can't imagine doing anything else that I'd love more. I've learned if we don't take chances we may never know that something truly incredible even exists.
I'm looking to meet new, interesting people and make new friends and go from there.
If you are up to a game of racquetball, then let me know. Experience is recommended but not required. If something else seems more interesting then I'm pretty much into any outdoor activities.

I recently moved from the west coast and am hoping to meet fellow vegetarians and vegans for friends and if there's that mystical connection maybe something more. I'm currently doing electrical and carpentry work, also in the process of writing a book (wish me luck!). I want to eventually buy some land and build an eco off-the-grid "earth ship" , and maybe try my hand at organic farming. I also just might end up doing ceramics or wood carvings out of the back of a school bus somewhere, who knows, life is an adventure! Let's see, I enjoy dancing, painting, making things with my hands, drawing, camping out, gardening, building projects, playing with animals and kids (recently taught my neices the fine art of raking a huge pile of leaves to jump in), long walks, reading sci-fi and fantasy as well as spiritual books, watching movies, writing, reading poetry - Rumi right now, yoga, tai-chi, meditation and learning about the world and myself.

Hippie at heart, sweet, loving, kind, fun, passionate about many causes. I juice regularly, eat raw, mostly vegetarian and don't do doctors, meds or hospitals. I love to walk and will walk for miles barefoot when I can. You know, the whole grounding thing...;) Moonlight, stars, walks on the beach or visiting an animal shelter are all scenarios for a perfect date. I'm a Christian and would like to find a Christian man that shares my beliefs in the naturopathic world and considers himself somewhat of a foodie And likes to peel, chop, mince, julienne, and cook together!

The first thing to know about me is that I have been vegan for ethical reasons since the mid 1990's. I cannot be in anything other than a friendship with someone who is not at least vegetarian for ethical reasons. I also cannot date a smoker, so sorry about that. Lastly, I cannot date someone who is deeply religious in a theistic religion. These are my show-stoppers and you should know about them straight away.
I am a software developer by trade and I love it! I'm geeky and techy and unapologetic about it. I spent 15 years as a construction contractor, most of that time as a small-business owner, so I know the value of a dollar and what it means to work hard for a living.
I have no children, but I do have furry children -- rabbits and cats. I volunteer for an all-volunteer animal rescue. I have no objection to children and have always wanted to be a father, but I'm happy to be the awesome uncle or significant other!
I am educated and well-rounded, though I always consider myself in need of more knowledge and culture, as I love to learn and am a perpetual student. I have a high degree of competency in speaking French and American Sign Language (ASL). I am a lover of language and the cultures of the world.
As for religion, I claim agnostic atheism and secular Buddhism as the best descriptors. I have studied the world's major religions and continue to hold deep fascination with them all, but I cannot bring myself to invest anything more than curiosity in the things that lie outside of what could be possibly be proven by the scientific method. We can talk epistemology, John 3:16, or any of the suras or suttas, or just spend some time on the zafu, but I am most comfortable at limiting my claims of knowledge to "I don't know" when it's appropriate. Even string theory is a nice idea with a lot of mathematical backing, but it, too, remains in the "I don't know" camp until we have 5 Sigma.
I play guitar and clarinet. I studied music intensely when I was younger, however my current musical consumption is that of a connoisseur. I now listen with intention, attention and appreciation.
I enjoy cycling, hiking, rock climbing, caving and other outdoor activities. I'm currently training for triathlons, so I do place value in staying physically fit.
I am very dedicated and fiercely loyal. I cherish spending time with those close to me. I also think that balance is important in any relationship. Two people cannot be together successfully if they don't support each other's mission to grow as a person. On the other hand, a successful relationship is that which its participants are looking and working towards a common goal.
I am contemplative, caring, compassionate, honest, transparent, open-minded, receptive, engaging, decisive, compassionate, charitable, nurturing, curious, thoughtful, playful, motivated, interested, independent, communal, supportive and a host of other things.

I follow the path of yoga, also known as Sanatana Dharma, or Hindu spirituality. Hinduism is all about learning to find and see the divine in all experiences (both good and bad experiences) and in all forms of life, from the lowest to the highest, and to move beyond all judgements and learn to see all as part of the larger play of the divine.
The particular form of Hinduism I personally follow is Shaktism, otherwise known as Hindu Tantra. In the west there is a lot of misunderstanding about what Tantra is. Many people equate it as purely sacred sexuality. Though sacred sexuality practices can be a part of Tantra, Tantra is much more than this. Tantra is very many things and this can make it hard to define. It is more of an approach to spirituality than anything else. Tantra is the approach of spiritualizing all aspects of life, as much as possible. Tantra is a magickal mystical path. The best comparison that many western people may know about to better understand Tantra, is that it is sort of the Wicca of Hinduism (a bad comparison, but this is maybe the quickest way to help people know sort of what it is). A large part of this path for me, is devotional practices to the Goddess Sri Lalita, the deity of the Sri Yantra, as well as Lord Shiva the God of yogis, and the elephant headed God Ganesha. I daily honor Shakti by the practice of Kundalini Yoga. Other important practices I do are the chanting of mantras on prayer beads, puja (a ritual form of worship), kirtan, meditation, Tantric magick rituals, and lots of reading and expanding my knowledge (jnana yoga). Tantra is so vast and complicated, and requires a lot of digging to find the hidden connections. There is so much to learn, I am trying to learn as much as possible. One aspect of Hindu Tantra I am very interested in learning more about is Sri Vidya, a very advanced esoteric form of Tantra involving mantra and yantra (sacred diagram) practices related to Sri Lalita.
I am also interested in sacred sexuality, as a source of energy to then offer up towards the higher. Sex can be a powerful experience of the divine male (Shiva) and female (Shakti) energies interacting in cosmic play, if the focus is directed towards this level. Kinky sex, as an expression of the creative nature of the divine, is also very interesting to me. Things like BDSM and D/s can be used as ways to explore this creative flow of divine sexual energies. Because the nature of the play of the divine is vast and ever changing, my sexual interests are vast and ever changing. This is why I have a huge fetish list and why I enjoy exploring so many different areas of kink.
"There's a great difference between the movement of the regenerative fluids for two individuals engaged in ordinary sexual intercourse as opposed to a highly realized male yogi and female yogini who are engaged in sexual intercourse..." - - H.H. the Dalai Lama
The whole purpose of spiritual practice is towards spiritualizing one’s energies by offering up your energies to the divine as a form of alchemy, whereby the divine nature then returns energies to you of a higher nature, thus by this process over time spiritual practices increase ones vibrations to ever higher more spiritual levels. Enlightenment is not a sudden thing you do or don’t have, it is a long term process of moving yourself more higher into the light of higher consciousness. Most people have more of a worldly focus, and do actions which entangle them towards a life-long focus on a more mudane aspects of life, such as having children, working long hours, and gathering a lot of material possessions and property. These things create an entangled karma that make it hard for many people to have time or energy to devote to spiritual practices and personal enrichment. I have chosen a different path than this, so that I can instead focus my life on the spiritual path, and put my energies towards enriching my knowledge and awareness.
For much of my life I have chosen to be a free-spirit in my approach to spiritual exploration, and have spent much time traveling the road of various different spiritual paths, learning how the many ways all relate. I have studied and practiced many various forms of spiritual practices, including tarot, astrology, Wicca, Norse-Paganism, Theosophy, Gnosticism, Buddhism, New Orleans Voodoo, New Age, Hermeticism, Hermetic Qabalah, alchemy, Native American spirituality, and more.
An important part of being able to make solid progress on a spiritual path is to be vegetarian or even vegan, as this helps to move ones energies more to a higher level automatically, by showing compassion to animal lifeforms. I have been vegetarian all of my adult life, and now I am striving to eat vegan as much as possible.
As a spiritual practitioner it is important to keep the body, mind, and energies, healthy as much as possible. Another aspects of this I have chosen is to abstain from the use of any drugs, even medical ones (unless it was something direly needed). I choose to take a natural approach to health-care, more so letting my body heal itself on it’s own as much as is practical to do so. I do respect that there are times to consult with regular doctors, but I then take what I learn from a checkup and research and make my own informed decisions on what is best for my health.
Another part of staying healthy is the need for regular exercise. I practice kundalini yoga, which does double duty as an amazing form of physical workout and a great way to improve health from the spiritual level. Kundalini yoga is an amazing spiritual practice on it’s own, and other benefits it gives are physical strength building, flexibility, breath control work, and an intensive cardio workout. Other forms of exercise I also enjoy, as time allows are long walks, bicycling, going to the gym, and other forms of physical yoga such as power yoga.

I'm an eclectic intellectual and don't enjoy small-talk much; I'm intelligent, athletic, funny & committed to spiritual & personal growth; I'm not into materialism and am more interested in relationships than stuff; I'm a singer-songwriter and am currently working on my first cd. I'm also an active environmentalist so I recycle everything and try to decrease my environmental impact; my diet is mostly vegan foods but I do have some eggs and cheese now and then. I enjoy traveling (just wish I had someone to travel with), anything in nature (camping, biking, hiking, etc.), deep conversations, gardening, reading and Yoga.

I am a gentle, caring, compassionate being. I enjoy traveling, movies, good vegetarian food, my pets (two dogs) and being with the one that I love. I want to live and share the good life with my mate and at the same time, help those that cannot help themselves - including and perhaps especially, animals and children. I am a vegetarian because I believe an animal should not have to sacrifice it's life for me to satisfy my hunger. There are plenty of alternatives - food-wise. "Right to life, liberty and happiness" applies to animals too. I have a pretty laid back personality - I rarely get angry about things. I work at a steady pace toward accomplishing my goals and am not a type "A". I believe you can work hard but not kill yourself with stress. When things go wrong or bad things happen to others, I'm usually the one with a calming influence on them. I do worry about things but overall, have a positive outlook on life.

READ "ALL" WORDS (Not just pics browsing) BEFORE contacting me PLEASE!!!!
Someone with a photo (preferably several). If you hunt, drink, party, play video games, ride a harley, listen to country music or go overboard on the American football - I'm probably NOT the girl for you. American men do tend to bore me honestly (sorry)... My name is "Crystal Renee" and I am an independent, single woman who has made enough mistakes to know what it is I need and it's value over what I may want. Intelligent, caring, cultured. I enjoy coffee, good conversation, travel and learning. Open to all cultures- in fact I appreciate the value system in eastern parts of the world. I was raised christian, later converted to Islam but am now at a point in my life where I consider myself to be spiritual but not religious. I do attend Buddhist meditation 3x a week and practice yoga. In my spare time, between family and job, I enjoy reading (non-fiction), watching good documentaries and doing things that get me a step closer to self understanding, love and a humble confidence. Sagittarius to a T, with all it's attributes. I'm a single mom with two little girls still at home and while I "can" still have children I "don't prefer it". @40- I look forward to travel, writing and some me-time, once my children are raised. If you have children that's fine as long as you're a great father and good with kids. Although I am "okay" being by myself- I have to admit it would be beautiful to one day find that special someone who completes me without smothering me. Likewise I am the kind of woman who would support and lift up my partner but have absolutely no interest in being with anyone who requires fixing. Looking for someone already put together, both emotionally, mentally and financially. The only climb I want to make with you is spiritually. If you're in a rush- I'm not the one. Taking one's time shows a commitment that this time you want to get it "right" with extreme certainty. Friendship first. Rushing the physical is, for me, a huge turn off. There must be a true meeting of the minds & spirituality, first & foremost. Though physical attraction does play a valid part for successful longevity.... someone near my own age or older (35-60), kind and caring with a true "Buddha nature". Intelligence is the most beautiful, intriguing quality that my partner can possess but it must come with a balance of humility and humbleness. If this sounds like you- message me and lets pour some coffee and begin :) ....... oh and again- I'm not into a man who parties, drinks and all of that. To each his/her own but thats not what I'm looking for. Thanks for reading :) Oh & I'm currently not a paid member so it's up to you to make that beyond-a-wink contact. But if your real special, I just might have to upgrade my membership. Put as much into your profile as I've put into mine. Those one pic & one liners, lose my interest instantly. I want someone who believes there are beauty in ALL religions, not just one. Someone who is fit in both mind, body and soul. I just want my best friend to kiss my forehead each morning, enjoy coffee with me and "care". Genuinely.

Easy-going, intelligent, open-minded, goofy, nerdy. I really like my job and generally love life, but feel like something is missing without someone to share it with. If left to my own devices I tend to spend my time at home, at the gym, or playing sports, usually ultimate frisbee - but it doesn't take any effort to get me off my routine and doing almost anything. I've been a vegetarian for about 3 years because of my love and respect for all living beings. Activities I enjoy: music/concerts, movies, talking, video games, bowling, most sports.

Hi, my name is Niko! My given name is Nicholas, but Niko is what I have gone by as long as I can remember.
I am vegan and loving it! I am a bit of a health Nazi because I rarely eat food that I do not prepare.
I'm very quirky and very excited about it because I think that it is the best thing about me. I like to think that I can make anything fun! I'm not afraid to show my quirks!
I love to tell jokes and have a gift for making people laugh.
Gaming is one of my favorite things to do next to writing and exercising! My favorite series by far is the Devil May Cry series (excluding 2, have not played the reboot yet)!!
I am easy to get along with (I know a lot of people say something similar, but it is especially true with me), can hold a conversation, always have something interesting to say, listen very well, and am an overall awesome person!
I really like animals!
I am always honest -- I have found that to be the best way to be because it makes me feel like I'm being myself.
I am very approachable, so do not be afraid to message me if you want to talk!
One last thing -- I am a bit shy at first but open up very quickly if I feel comfortable talking to you. I reply to every message I get at the first opportunity I have to read them. So if I open up to you, then I am interested!

Greetings! My nickname is Geyser, but my real name is Guy. Thanks for checking out my profile. Obviously vegetarianism is a gigantic part of my life. Amoung manyother reasons, the thought of putting flesh in my body I find to be deeply distrubing. I must say I'm an above average chef. I love experimenting with different styles of vegetarian meals.
I very much enjoy staying as active as possible. I swim a lot. I adore the game of tennis. I've never met anyone who can defeat me at ping pong. I love to toss a Frisbee around and attempt spectacular catches between my legs. I love long walks.
I absolutely love animals. I have a cat named Boyardee. He hates it when I leave, but when I return; he does "The Ravioli" for me to show me how much he missed me. "The Ravioli" is what I would describe as a twist and turn floor dance. He'll keep doing it until I pick him up and give him a big hug and kiss. Someday I'd love to buy a puppy. I'm not sure what breed it is, but I'd like the puppy to be the breed that runs after a Frisbee and brings it back to me. I had betta fish named Walter Payton, but sadly he passed away. I soon plan on getting another one. The fish bowl is in my kitchen. When I enter the kitchen, it feels empty because of Walter Payton's passing. So, I will soon bring a new betta into my kitchen. I might even put a Peace Lilly inside the bowl to give the little guy some roots to play in.
I'm a certified "treehugger". I absolutely adore nature. I very much enjoy gardening in order to grown my own food. I also love to juice to give my digestive system a vacation. There's just nothing quite like a juice mixture of cucumber, carrots, beets, swiss chard, and anything else that complements the beverage.
I love the outdoors. I love camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking. I enjoy staying as active as possible.
Creativity and art are huge parts of my life. Who doesn't like to draw and paint. I'm no Rembrandt, but I enjoy trying to capture and interesting piece of work whenever possible. My favorite creative adventure is recording music. I'm not Jeff Magnum or Rob Schneider, but creating songs is one of my favorite things in the world to do.
I'm also a huge movie person. I'm extremely open minded so there aren't many movies I dislike. Right now I'm on the last season of Six Feet Under. I'm built like a linebacker, but the truth is I'm a huge nerd. I love all the superhero movies. On the flip side, I also very much reading. Words are very powerful.

I like learning about many different things, and I am very opened minded. I love making jokes and being humorous. I really like comedy. My some comedians I really like "Dave Chappelle, Louis C.K., Richard Pryor, T.J. Miller, and Russel Peters". I also like watching some anime shows and I also like drawing/painting. My favorite sport is soccer whether indoor/outdoor but I love to play most sports in general (basketball, racquetball, tennis, etc). I enjoy playing the piano a lot, and I also love to create my own music on the computer as well as on the piano. I also enjoy just listening to music. I like pretty much all genres of music, but most of the music I listen to now is hip hop, progressive house, alternative, a bunch of old school songs from 70's 80s and 90s, and let's not forget Micheal Jackson!
I currently work as a reliability engineer, and I enjoy my work/job. I live in merrillville indiana but work in hammond.
I'm also spiritual as well. I think meditating is very good for the mind, body, and spirit . I am kind, respectful, understanding, and patient, and enjoy having fun. I like watching good movies, eye opening documentaries (The Zeitgeist Films and The Venus Project Documentaries especially) and funny but really bad movies (just to crack jokes during and after the movie). I never watch T.V. I'ts mostly all lies and brainwashing. Internet is good enough for me.
Wherever I may go, and wherever I end up, I will always liked to be remembered as a good person who lived in "Truth, Love, and Laughter".

I'm a 21 year old college student studying communication and English. I'm getting ready to go into my senior year, and once I graduate, I plan to relocate to attend graduate school (location not yet decided). I joined this website because vegetarianism is incredibly important to me, and I have recently come to terms that I cannot have a fulfilling relationship with someone who doesn't possess this quality. I am ambitious and very independent. Once I set my mind to something, I always accomplish it. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and painting, although I'm always up for an adventure. I am kind, compassionate, empathetic, and supportive. I love being around people and getting to know them. I also love finding happiness and positivity in every aspect of my life, and I hope to find someone who does the same thing.

I'm mostly a vegan except that I eat deep water fish for the omega fatty acids. I'm trying to live a healthy lifestyle and like shopping at natural food grocery stores. While in North Carolina, I started a group called North Carolina Citizens for Safe Food. We tried to educate the public about the dangers of genetic engineering (GMO's) to human health and the environment. I believe in the equality of men and women, the elimination of racism, and that marriage is a fortress for well being. Some of my interests include: NPR, PBS (especially NOVA programs), Democracy Now (Amy Goodman), Union of Concerned Scientists, Center for Food Safety, Organic Consumers Association, Genetic Engineering Action Network, Ralph Nader, Dennis Kucinich, Baha'i Faith, nutritional healing, sustainable/green living, walkable communities, renewable energy, vegetarian/vegan cooking, raw foods, walking and hiking, massage, dancing (especially international folk dancing), most music except rap/blues/jazz. I love Irish/Scottish music and dance.

I'm probably not someone you meet every day. I am quirky, funny, silly, savvvvy, curious, tall, very fit, athletic, educated, and have traveled quite a bit. I love animals, art, history, philosophy, and like to try new things. I like old things, bringing old things back to life. I am quite into music these days, and I play acoustic and electric guitar, compose music, and enjoy listening to all types of music. I am quite creative. I also am sweet, caring, and kind. I like old cars, old bicycles. I am most happy seaside. I like to grow food. I am of Irish/Dutch/Cherokee descent. Oh, and also...I am a post-op transsexual female. I transitioned several years ago, so it isn't something that is a big focus in my life, but it is part of my past. I think it has made me a better person, a more insightful and compassionate person. So, that is just a bit about me!

I am an individual who is an advocate for preserving the natural environment and wildernesses areas, as I have recently lived in a place that has hundreds of miles of untouched terrain. I also lived and worked closely with the Navajo people as this area is surrounded by most of the major US reservations. I am an artist and writer, and am presently the Executive Director of a non-profit organization. God is the center of my life as I try to maintain a close relationship with him. I own two golden retreivers, a Great Pyrenees, and several cats that were born on the Shiprock reservation. I am currently in the Midwest and do not know what the future brings.
