Hi! I'm currently splitting time between Phoenix and Tucson. This is both good and bad. Good since I get the best of both worlds. More social events in Phoenix, much easier to relax and enjoy the outdoors in Tucson. Its bad since its difficult to really connect with anyone or groups of people in either community. I'm a small business owner so admittedly I'm working (or thinking about work) more than I should. But when I do cut loose I manage to have a really good time and, for better or worse, like to stay out later than I should. Anyhow, I love going to concerts (Nickleback, Green Day, Warped Tour, MxPx, and of course I have a spot for the Backstreet boys.) Ocassionally I will go to Dave & Busters to play video games and billairds. I have three cats and am totally into animal rights but I'm not going to push it as hard as PETA does. Hell I'm not a PETA member.. I disagree with the way the farmers treat the animals.. My favorite dish is tofu steak with basil and black pepper on top. By the way, I'm an excellent cook!

Live on 80 acres near Grand Canyon, but not a hermit, just prefer the company of the plants, trees and animals to most humans a lot of the time. Like to watch the Sun come up on the eastern horizon & go down on the western one--with no human evidence in between. For many years my conscience told me not to eat scientient animals--especially mammals--but I wouldn't listen. Then, finally, my body told me that if I didn't listen to my conscience it would die in protest. Own & fly Cessna airplanes based at Valle A/P for fun to enjoy this beautiful geography and hang out in the sky since I'm not near the ocean. Had & bred/trained llamas (30-F, 3-M) for a number of years. Lot of sailing experience on Pacific--miss the sea, but flying helps to commune with the eternal: cloud waves, instead of beach waves. I enjoy the lack of ambulance & police sirens of the City and can go there when the need or desire arises. Have house (5bd, 3ba) pretty well set up for guests who often come to enjoy the peace & quiet and decompress.

My work for many years has been in the healing arts–currently as a physician, yoga teacher, and Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner. My story, I rew up in rural Wisconsin. Started out as a trombone music major in college but that fell through (for a good reason). Got into math & dirt engineering & took 6 years graduate. I have been a vegetarian for almost 7 years. Vegan almost a year. When considering animal rights, I think Jeremy Betham puts it well with, "The question is not, 'Can they reason?' nor, 'Can they talk?' but rather, 'Can they suffer?'" If a being is capable of suffering, they have the right to not suffer - whether that be suffering in a slaughterhouse, fur farm, puppy mill, or circus. I love to analyze everything- body language, a look, a kiss, ... I try to be happy - and seek the company of the like. I like to read, mostly about human sexuality and veganism. I feel that I have the right to be nude if I want to be - I hope that someday society agrees with me. I accept everyone no matter their beliefs - I expect the same. I love playing almost any sport.
