I'm going into my last year of my Environmental Science degree. After graduation, I intend on going to as many places as I can in the continental US. My focus is wetlands, but I have an interest in sustainable farming.
I'm mostly vegetarian, with the eventual goal of vegan. My family is the kind of family that has meat with a side of meat and meat for dessert, so going home is always a challenge as far as eating goes. The main reason I'm choosing the diet is because of primarily environmental reasons, but also ethical.
Currently, I'm teaching myself how to cook vegan and learning about nutrition so I can do it right. I love to cook for others. I just found a mean Mac & "cheese" recepie that finally convinced me to work my way off dairy. My other hobbies involve crafting (crochet, sew, macrame, etc) and my pets (rats, fish, snakes).
