I’m seeking a *rare* specialty burrito. It’s filled with best friend and significant other wrapped into one caring partner. It’s a vegan burrito, and therefore compassionate, tender, and conscientious. Inside is integrity, a love of the outdoors, and the things that make you, you. The burrito is bright with an intellect that satisfies my nutritional needs, and tastes as good as I think it looks.

What kind of burrito am I? A rare vegan one as well of course, composed of similar yet unique seasonings: a love of nature, science, philosophy, history, art, and music. No artificial flavors or religious fillings.

We’d make the salsa together, perfecting the heat and flavor to accommodate each other, but not so much as to compromise our own needs, unique tastes, and spice for life. We can talk about what name to give this salsa, but my vote is on “companionship,” a descriptor for the work it takes to be a good “partner” to make good salsa, and keep it fresh.

OK, I’ll come back to straight talk. When I'm not working, eating (sometimes burritos), or questioning the established disorder then I'm probably mountain biking, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, trail running, reading, creating art, playing the drums, messing with Ableton, or working on my salsa formula.

I'll leave the rest for conversation.

*Rare. What do I mean by rare? Reality check. There aren’t many of us (vegan, single, atheist/agnostic, similar age range): about 2500 in the US, or crudely about 50/state (roughly 2500 females, and 2500 males). 2500 isn’t bad, but that number could easily fall by half if we consider a mutual physical attraction, a crossover in some interests (outdoorsy, intellectual, leftist etc.). Further, the chance that all 5000 of us are online and on this site is extremely low.

Let’s go a step further and take into account being childfree. 2500 falls to 460, or about 9 females and 9 males/state. Of course this number could easily fall by half again if we consider a mutual physical attraction, a crossover in some interests, and the chance that all 920 of us are online and on this site.

That said, I/we may have to settle on the childfree front, but when you get this burrito there are no strings attached, other than the things that make me, me.
