I am a laid-back person who loves the world and people. I enjoy being kind and helpful. I care about the environment and love nature so I do what I can. I've been vegan since about 2006. I would describe myself as curious, patient, silly, and giving.

I've spent most of my life in good, ole Joisey and the place has grown on me, but I went to college in Massachusetts. Then I lived in Maryland and DC. I liked DC a lot because of its parks and things to do. However, my favorite place is Mexico. I spent only 3 weeks there but I was elated the whole time. I loved the warmth of the people, the colorful buildings, the plants that were everywhere, the scenery, the food, and everything else. (I have a ton of pictures.) I was afraid of going to Mexico City since I was doing this trip alone, but I ended up thinking it was wonderful. I visited some other Mexican cities and didn't even see a beach, but they were all amazing and interesting places. I spent a month on a beach in Costa Rica volunteering with an org that protects sea turtles, and I enjoyed my time there and the sunsets, but I'm not truly a beach person. I prefer the woods. :)

I currently work for an environmental non-profit and I'll soon start managing a local farmers market on Sundays for the second year in a row. :) I've become more and more environmental with time, and I would like to be with someone who also thinks about his impact on the planet. For example, I now make my own deodorant, body wash, and toothpaste, and it just makes sense

I love, loooove children. There are a few in my family and they're the sunshine of my life. It's fun to play with them and hear what they say. I think that raising children is one of the best things one can do for the world. (I'm planning to adopt or have one or two of my own.) I also love animals, especially dogs. I like fruits and veggies, vegan ice cream, jokes (even the ones on Laffy Taffy wrappers!), the rain, and tea. I enjoy volunteering, baking (vegan, of course), watching movies, playing hide and seek with kids, giving little gifts to people, running, and doing yoga (but rarely).
