I find it difficult to describe myself. One of the highest compliments I've ever received is that I am an "exquisite listener." I was flattered by the sentiment and do try my best to be fully present in all that I do. I am a passionate and compassionate person who is absolutely loyal. I love family and friends and enjoy spending time with them.

I have recently become vegan after having been vegetarian for 25 years. I became a vegetarian for environmental and ethical reasons. I have become vegan because of my strengthened commitment to decreasing negative impacts to the planet and other living beings. This lifestyle is aligned with my spiritual beliefs and this change has been a blessing!

I absolutely love nature. Everything about it. I have a passion for photography and enjoy hiking with my camera in tow... sometimes "borrowing" images and other times simply being present. I enjoy contemplative photography... capturing a moment that unveils hidden or often unnoticed beauty.

I studied art for awhile focusing on drawing and sculpture. I found my passion for photography after taking a trip to Japan to visit the gardens of Kyoto. An amazing and life changing experience that I will always treasure. I know work in the field of education. I love what I do and look forward to the adventures that lie ahead.
