Hi,

I am a fairly recent widow living in a community that is new to me. I am looking for compatible friends to correspond with or to share activities and interests with -- ideally including some lovely meals (and wine!). Animals, including my pets, are a big part of my life.

I love to read, walk by the water, listen to music, listen to people tell their stories, explore, and learn. I was born in Wales, have lived in England, Canada, and the US, and have traveled to India, Kenya, Iceland, and parts of Europe. There are many places I still hope to see. I love to travel and experience different cultures.

I have worked as a teacher, editor, research assistant, workshop leader, and caregiver and continue to do some freelance work. I am using my computer a lot at the moment to explore some personal development ideas that may help me in the life transition I am experiencing.

I like to spend time -- or correspond -- with people who have a variety of interests and are open and caring about the world and all its inhabitants, people with genuine curiosity about this earth on which we live as well as about our spiritual natures.
