Strict vegetarian since '92, almost vegan. It is second nature to me and is an important core part of the person I am. It was an entirely ethics-driven decision. I work as a nurse on weekends, which might be a challenge as far as dating. However, this gives me four days off during the week to enjoy! I am hard-working, but can be motivated or lazy depending on the day. I am independent, somewhat frugal, and am a humble, unpretentious person. Loves in life are cats, listening to great music, living in the country....also the simple pleasures such as listening to thunder, fresh air through an open window, or a great cup of coffee. I love to cook (Vegan Planet is my favorite cookbook). I am very much into fitness, and exercise about four times a week. I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 6 chickens (all rescues) to keep me company. What else....for fun I like to hike, spend time with friends, whether it's going to a local winery or having dinner parties and watching movies. I enjoy travelling any chance I get.
