At the risk of sounding like a Girl Scout, I am generous, independent, responsible, trustworthy and sometimes honest to a fault. This is not just my perception of myself, you could ask anyone who knows me (even acquaintances) and they would say the same. When in doubt, my default mode is analytical and rational. When I’m sure, I can be full of righteous justice.
I also have a creative side. I’m working on bringing back into my life the things I used to do, like going to museums, painting, pottery, gardening and yoga. I’m at a phase in my life where I want to be more mindful of the “now”, less serious and listen more to my intuition. So, go ahead and push me to get up and sing Karaoke, or hold hands while walking.

TV: Fareed Zakaria GPS(CNN), Grimm, Person of Interest, The New Normal(funny!), Dexter, Sherlock Holmes(smart PBS series), Luther(BBC America), Book TV(CSPAN2), Through the Wormhole (science)… it goes on from there. I really watch too much TV! What I don’t watch are soap operas and so called “reality” shows like Big Brother/Honey Boo Boo.
Movies: pretty much anything Sci Fi, Action, Tim Burton and occasionally Indie
Radio: 88.5 or 89.7 Fresh Air/NPR. Also, on Sunday nights starting at 8pm 97x plays 80’s alternative/punk
Music: Alternative Rock, Punk, Ska and occasionally blues and classical
Food: favorites are Indian, Ethiopian and sweets
Books: Sci Fi, Mystery, Science (physics) and comics (Mike Mignola fan)
Work: Trainer/Analyst for a software company
Recycling: obsessed
