I picked up a philosophy book with a chapter on diet and nutrition when I was 26. It was my introduction to vegetarianism. From that time forward I dumped religion and became a vegan. Along with these changes I learned independence which is what Americans are supposed to be, independent.
The problem all along has been locating vegetarian women. I've had some luck changing a number people, but there's a mountain of work before it is accomplished. I'm running out of time for that. It would be nice just to meet more people who already have vegetarian consciousness.
