I am affable, compassionate and often lend an ear to those who need someone to listen. I'm something of a xenophile (in that I have an affinity for people who are not caucasian) but I do not discriminate Tongue Out. I have a well developed sense of culture, but make no bones about also enjoying potty humor. I enjoy going to the theater, seeing live music (ranging from metal to hip-hop to jazz) or just chillin at home Netflix binging. I'm a sports fan and particularly enjoy baseball and basketball, but I've been known to watch soccer and cricket as well. I'm no gym workout superstar, but I do regularly go and believe its important to exercise as regularly as possible. Pets are keen (I love dogs most of all) but have none at the moment. I enjoy cooking and have begun to expand my repetoire to include more vegan choices. Confident and determined to build niche consulting business after persevering through and overcoming some harsh life punches.

Veggie/vegan diet.

I have been vegetarian for many years. In recent times, the more I learned about how dairy cattle are treated, and egg laying chickens, I moved to a vegan diet. Have also gradually stopped buying and wearing leather, wool or products that may contain them.  Most of my friends and relatives are meat eaters, and it's difficult at times to share meals together, for reasons those of you on this site will probably understand.  I'm not a political type person, so I don't try to change people, although I hope that those around me become curious about my vegan choices.

Same goes true for dating. Hard to think of becoming very close with someone who does not share these values that are very important to me. I am also a passionate animal lover, and involved with dog rescue.

My other interests include simple things like talking walks, (preferably with my dogs), spending time at the beach, reading, movies, theater and concerts, involvement in my synagogue for services and events occasionally.  I love warm weather and long days, and hope to move away from cold CT some day soon.
