Wish that I were taller, but alas, I am of Sicilian descent on my mother's side [sigh].  I am a casual, native Californian, who likes both desserts, deserts, and a healthy lifestyle.  I am a fun loving, adventurous person.  I lived in southern California most of my life, but have also lived in Virginia, Florida and now Texas.  I have family here.  I love the desert, mountains, the sea and areas in between.  The world is a beautiful place, its too bad we all can't live in harmony.  I also have family in California, and Colorado.  I enjoy a good, safe adventure now and then.  I have sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge in a wooden boat with my late husband, took a train through Mexico's spectacular Copper Canyon, and parachuted from a 1942 Howard over Lake Elsinore, California in my youth.  I am an animal lover and volunteer with an animal rescue.  I have also done other volunteering with one of my dogs.  I enjoy photography, the outdoors, baking and cooking for two.  I am retired and now have dogs, but have had, until recently, cats, which I also love.  I have traveled locally and internationally and also enjoy the stuff couples do, such as hiking, biking, enjoying a good play, or concert, the movies, food and the company of family and good friends.
