Before I tell you more about myself, let me quickly tell you about this vineyard not far from me. It's called Lakeridge Winery. Every Saturday afternoon during the Winter they have a wine tasting and outdoor concert. Sometimes the band plays jazz, sometimes they play blues. I went several times last year, and had a blast. Besides the delicious wine and good music, the sun setting behind the vineyard is simply breathtaking.

This month in addition to visiting Lakeridge, I'm heading to Leu Gardens to see the Camellias (if you haven't seen them in full bloom, you should). After that, I'll hit this French cafe off of Park Avenue. It comes highly recommended. 

As you can see, I enjoy things other than the typical night of club hopping!

Hi I would describe myself as loving, funny and shy. I'm more spiritual than religious and find many philosophies beautiful. However I was raised in a Hindu based religion and still hold much affinity with some of those philosophies. I'm definitely not a party all the time type girl but I do like to have fun. I am divorced and have joint custody of my 9 year old daughter.  I have been a vegetarian for just over 13 years.  My vegetarianism is based on moral reasons, but the health benefits don't hurt.  Lately I have been studying Buddhism, and find it compliments my vegetarianism.  I enjoy spending most of my free time with my daughter, going to Cocoa Beach, playing at the local park, helping with her home schooling.  Basically spending the quality time with her, that a father should spend with his child.  I have been working for the Florida Fish and Wildlife  Conservation Commission Division of Law Enforcement for over 5 years.  My family is very important to me, and as often as possible I take my daughter to South Florida to visit her grandparents.

I am a divorced, home school mom to my 9 year old daughter. I am friendly, out-going and I enjoy being around other like-minded people.  I am very caring and giving and I love spoiling everyone, especially my daughter and my dog. 

I have been a vegetarian for 29 years - since I was 13 years old.  It has played a huge role in my life.  I cannot take an animal's life for my own personal use so ethical reasons for becoming a vegetarian are more important to me than the health reasons.  Although, that is a huge bonus.   I love to work out and stay fit.  Aerobics and muscle training are my two favorites.  I also love to hike, but haven't done too much since moving back to Florida.  I lived in the mountains of North Carolina for 5 years and hiked all the time.  I would love a hiking partner here who isn't an alligator, snake or a crazy bird.  Hiking near a Florida swamp really isn't the same as the NC mountains! 

I worked as an elementary school teacher for 10 years but my current job is home schooling my daughter.  I spend most of my time doing all sorts of activities with her.  She spends 3 nights a week with her father so I have a lot of free time on those days. 

My favorite things to do, besides working out and hiking, are reading books, crocheting/knitting (no I'm not 70 years old!), dancing, watching movies, exploring new places, etc....  I like trying new things so bring it on!

I was raised Jewish so the Jewish culture is in my blood but I have a hard time believing 100% in any religion.  It seems like some kind of sordid, wicked fairytale to me.  I am not certain if there is a God but if there is I am certain he is nothing like what's written in the bible. 

My family is very important to me.  In fact, my parents and I bought a huge house together. They live in the main part of the house and I live in my own apartment downstairs from them.  It works out perfectly for my daughter and me.  Live-in babysitters!!!!  They are a huge part of my life.

If somehting happens I would like that person to be willing to relocate after retirement to a milder climat, maybe North Carolina. As the romanatic that I am, I would like this person to love going to the movies, the beach and do romatic things (ie. candle light dinners,a bath waiting for me when I have had a difficult day, and ready to liston to my day as well as I listen to his.

I am a very lucky man who tries to keep this fact in mind while knowing that others might not be so lucky and therefore need to be treated with compassion. I enjoy life but it could be so much more enjoyable with a special woman to share it with.
My first business required considerable travel including frequent visits to England and Brazil. In my first year I found it necessary to acquire a pilot's license and purchase a plane in order to continue building my business. For over two decades I was fortunate to be able to fly my plane almost every week and to be able to profit from doing so. Subsequent businesses were either marginally profitable or money holes. I finally decided to change a losing game and go sailboat cruising in the Southern Caribbean. I have now gotten that desire out of my system and am quite happy to be a land lubber.
I have two grown children with families of their own who keep me grounded.
