I'm a high school ESL teacher in a low-income area. I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. It's my first year at the school I work at and it's been great. I invest a lot of time and energy into my career as a teacher, and I have a lot of respect for people who do the same with their own careers. It shows that you have the drive to be your absolute best and not BS your way through life.

I'm quirky and sarcastic, so you have to take a lot of what I say with a grain of salt. If you're sensitive, you may want to move on. I like a man with a  good sense of humor, so long as he doesn't hide behind his sense of humor.

I love to be active and I'm a bit of a health nut (I'm a vegetarian). I do yoga, kickboxing, weight lifting, zumba, and run. Outside of the gym, I like to do any kind of water sport, fencing, and horseback riding. I've been fencing for 12 years and horseback riding for 20. I had to give up horseback riding because I can't afford it right now, but I'd love to get back into it eventually. Needless to say, I need a partner who is content with more than just takeout and a movie at home for most dates. I'm not saying I don't enjoy staying in every so often, but I'd like to be with someone who is open to new experiences. 

I'm looking for a guy who has a lot of energy and goals that they plan to accomplish. Also, if you're looking for a fling, look elsewhere. Oh, and you get bonus points if you know how to cook/bake.
