My description:
I’m a warm, thoughtful introvert who blooms on the dance floor or when asked to pen something, and I beam when cheering on my favorite tennis players. Who are they? Ask me!
I've soaked in the innovative spirit of the West Coast and the intellectual intensity of the East Coast for the past twenty years, moving around for education and work opportunities. Recently, I moved home to Chicago where kindness, balance and family ties mirror who I am.
My roots are as deep and strong as my wings, which have taken around the world. I like to travel - not to check items off a bucket list - but because learning how people from different cultures see the world and live their lives makes me a more open and complete person.
By day, I straddle the worlds of social justice and the arts as a director at a non-profit and a consultant to museums. My favorite parts of my jobs? Creating things that make the world a better place and challenging myself to learn new things and make deeper impact in my work.
When not working, I’m happiest doing simple things – spending time with people I love, going for walks and reading in libraries, a place of inspiration for me since childhood. Health and balance are very important to me too. I do yoga & tai chi and eat well daily to live a healthy life.
I tend to fit best with kind, affectionate and laid-back guys with integrity who similarly value family & friendships and humility and are also vegan or vegetarian.
I’m looking for someone to join me in the everyday of building a home and life together – enjoying meals together as we recount our days, exploring cultural offerings, restaurants and neighborhoods in familiar and foreign cities and learning and growing as a team. How incredible would it be part of a “whole that is greater than the sum of its parts”?
