My description:
I'm a life-long animal advocate and activist. I don't wear, consume nor use products tested on animals and I recently became vegan (I've been vegetarian since I was 10 years-old) and I eat a largely raw diet. I volunteer with dog rescue organizations and my work is with dogs. I lean left politically and socially. I love NPR and I watch and listen to news to stay abreast of current events.
I love documentaries but I admit I watch some reality TV; Alaska State Troopers, DIY stuff, Forensic and Cold Case Files. I also really like the National Geographic Chanel.
I attend local comedy shows 2-3 times a month, usually with a small group of friends. A few times a year I attend plays as one of my friends/clients is an actress. I would love to see more plays!
I'm likely only one of a handful of Marin residents not into wine tasting. I can't imagine spending a day tasting wine. Conversely, a day outdoors hiking beautiful Marin trails, playing with dogs on the beach or bike riding are my passion! I have a lot of natural energy, which I'm thankful for. My energy, enthusiasm and propensity for trying new things keep me youthful. Over Christmas vacation, my brother and I rode kick-scooters for hours down the Miracle Mile in Las Vegas.
I enjoy early morning hours and during the summer with the longer daytime hours, I can be ready to hit a trail (for a hike or biking) bright and early.
I'm neither religious nor spiritual but I've upgraded -- or downgraded, depending on how you feel -- from an atheist to agnostic over the years.
Seeking:
- I'm looking for an outdoorsy, dog-loving guy. Intellect and humor far outweigh appearance and monetary gain. I would like to find someone with whom I can camp, bike, kayak, hike and hang out with. It's a huge bonus if you play Scrabble and you get double points if you play competitively!
I would also like someone whose energy level matches mine;
someone who has a desire to try new things, and with whom I can openly communicate.
If this describes you, I may be your girl!
