My description:
I have been a vegan for 22 years. It has been the most important decision I have ever made in terms of animal rights, environmental sustainability and my overall health. I am a dedicated believer in animal rights and feel all forms of animal slavery should be abolished.
I love nature and spend much of my free time hiking, birding and kayaking. Other interests of mine include: traveling (20+ countries so far), urban exploration, tropical ecology, cooking, spending time with non-human animals, veganism, minimalism, dancing, music and movies. I work as a field biologist and naturalist guide, so I've been blessed with experiencing the beauty of many amazing places and meeting some really interesting people along the way. I am not a materialistic person and do my best to live a simple life. I have no interest in consumerism, spectator sports, or anything else that's meant to distract me from the many injustices that are going on at home and abroad. I feel passionate about the environment and animal rights. I also invision a government that puts the interests of it's citizens over the desires of corporations and the super wealthy.
Seeking:
I would like to meet someone with similar interests that respects and understands the importance of animal and environmental rights. An appreciation for the Earth and all of its creatures is a must. I would also like to meet someone who is as passionate about traveling and adventure as I am.
