My description: I'm a vegetarian living in the Hudson Valley; I also love going into the city frequently (very commutable). I do freelance writing; love words, Scrabble, old movies, stand-up comedy (not doing it - watching it!), shows, trying out new restaurants, travel. I'm easy to talk to. I have a child I adore (his father is involved in his life). It would be fun to meet more people with at least something in common as a springboard... then just see what happens!
Seeking: Life is full of things to do - I'd like to meet people with a sense of humor and a sense of adventure! Too intense isn't good, but neither is lackadaisical. Kindness and sincerity: definitely non-negotiable! Sports are okay, I guess, but I don't get people who are obsessed with them. What's ideal to me is someone who can be spontaneous and fun, but is also pro-active about planning things sometimes. Who doesn't take himself too seriously... but knows when to be serious. Someone who can get into cultural things as well as domestic things gets bonus points!
