My description:
Independent thinker but conservative in behavior. Non-materialistic suburbanite. Enjoy the usual -- museums, movies, music (progressive/psychedelic/folk rock, jazz, classical, world), family, the outdoors, bicycling, hiking, reading, NPR. A science geek from early on, I teach it in a local college. Culturally "Jewish-ish", but agnostic (strongly leaning toward atheism) since my teens, I have practiced meditation on and off (currently, on) for years. I've been a vegetarian since the early 90's, for both ethical and environmental reasons. I pay fairly close attention to politics and current events, but am only occasionally active in those areas. I'm pretty strongly left-leaning, but try to keep an open mind. Unfortunately, that means that sometimes things fall out....
Seeking:
Seeking a woman of depth, wisdom, compassion, kindness, and intelligence, with a good sense of humor and a range of interests. She is warm but also a bit reserved, deeply thoughtful, intellectually curious, someone who questions the common wisdom.
