My description:
I'm a warm and affectionate person, and an attentive partner. I enjoy diverse cuisines of many cultures, the outdoors, live music, dancing, film and theater, a good museum. I like the high culture and the low culture, but not so much the middle brow, i.e., not so big on TV. My educational background is in psychology, philosophy and history of science. I grew up in the 80s punk scene in the Midwest, then in Arizona. I started college at age 25, on the East Coast, have since lived in Chicago, Minnesota, now back to my hometown, St. Louis. I have played in bands most of the time since I was 15, and hope to continue. I'm a life-long political activist, a pragmatic anarchist, interested in syndicalism. As a pragmatist, I'm "Feelin' the Bern!" While I'm good at "guy" things like working on the car or repair jobs around the house, I'm also a good listener and able to express my emotions. I understand that a relationship cannot be taken for granted, but must be nurtured.

I like to have fun, whether it's dancing to disco, bowling with friends, an academic talk, or a demonstration. I'm usually very gregarious. So, while one-on-one quality time is essential, I also enjoy socializing as a couple! I am comfortable with myself and not afraid of intelligent women. The most attractive women are those who have work or projects of their own, a life as well as a relationship.
