My description:
I would describe myself as easy-going yet focused, silly but serious; My interests include reading, gardening, politics (and also Bill Maher & Jon Stewart's brand of political comedy), travel, movies, kayaking, hiking, music, art & architecture. I used to be a career student (some law school and graduate work in urban planning), but have been for the past several years an IT professional in the finance industry. I'm intellecutally curious and interested in learning about different subjects and cultures. I'm passionate about the environment and a holistic approach towards taking care of the earth and ourselves. I was brought up vegetarian and have been so my whole life. I strongly believe in the ethical/non-violence aspect of vegetarianism and try to be vegan when possible.
