My description: Callenbach wrote about the 'stable-state'; the balance of the mind, body and soul, the balance of human interaction with other humans, the goal of balance between humans and the biosphere. I strive daily to find that balance, that 'stable-state'. My friends tell me I am an eco-activist, but I fancy myself as more of a social activist. I love discussions, philosophizing, and idea exhange. I live and work in West Marin and I appreciate the space in contrast to living in the city. My new abode allows me to venture off into Pt. Reyes for early morning bike rides, or day long walkabouts=happiness. I appreciate simple things, cooking dinner for or with someone, making eye contact with a stranger, veggie sushi or other nicely rolled items, and so forth. A laugher or a comic; someone has to remind me how ridiculous I can be. A person willing to take a chance on a new recipe, or eat a mushroom we can't identify. Lover of live music, improvisational weekends and dinner parties are essential. Likes to backpack, hit bike trails or toss a disc just as much as mellow evenings with a book, movie, crafts or...silence.
