My description:
I'm shy, thoughtful, and self sufficient, and a cat lover. I tend to seem aloof until I feel comfortable with those I'm with. Once I trust you, I'm sweet, affectionate, and sappy (just like my cats!) I'm a small animal veterinarian who works part time, transitioning to retirement. As I continue to age, I realize attitude is everything! (ie not a whiner) In my personal life, my passion is bike riding on local rails to trails, but when I can't do that, I'm antiquing, camping, or reading. No longer in my reproductive years, but would be considerate of stepchildren or consider adoption. Pretty flexible about the level of relationship I am looking for- but casual sex is not something I would consider. I love the outdoors and nature. I would love to have another chance to see the Northern Lights. Favorite places include Kent Island, Harper's Ferry, W.Va, Damascus, Va, Boundary Waters of Minnesota, the Chesapeake Bay, and the rural farm country of any state. Seeking:
I would love to find a pal to enjoy my senior years with. Must love animals and the outdoors. I'm not actually sure what level relationship I'm looking for- I haven't been in one for a while. I would like someone who is honest, patient, empathetic, gentle, generous, kind, and communicates well, with high moral standards and a preference for the simple life. I would like to spend time getting to know someone who is willing to explore, to give and receive without expectation, to allow trust to build, with no "timetables" or "goals". I am not ruling out marriage with the right person, and am looking for an equally open man. Although wealth is not important to me, financial stability is.
