My description:
I became vegan because I am committed to protecting koalas and wildlife. One day, while eating chicken, I was struck by the realization that these animals were born solely to be killed. That moment forced me to confront a contradiction between my values and my actions. If I truly wanted to help and protect animals, continuing to eat them no longer made sense to me.
I initially became vegetarian, though I struggled to give up cheese. Later, I met a vegan person and made a promise to her that I would fully commit to a vegan lifestyle. I chose to honor that promise. For me, veganism is not simply a diet, but a conscious decision that aligns with my values and represents the way I can genuinely stand up for animals.
Seeking:
I hope to connect with open-minded people who genuinely care about animals and are willing to protect them, and who appreciate the freedom we have without taking it for granted.
I am especially drawn to those who care deeply about koalas, Australian wildlife, and farmed animals, and who are able to see unhoused people not as a problem to be solved, but as human beings deserving of dignity, compassion, and respect.
