My description:
I like to play outside. I enjoy open water swimming in rivers, lakes, and the Pacific. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and just generally finding ways to play outdoors, though this has been a bit limited lately due to injuries. I also enjoy attending live music events and exploring gardens. I take pride in having changed my garden to native and edible plants and have grown to enjoy gardening in a way I never thought I would. I work hard in an often emotionally-intense environment so I enjoy my time away. Mostly Buddhist in a Jewish family. Compassion and kindness are the keys to a good life for me. This is also reflected in my political engagement. Having lived in Europe and studied history, my political views are far to the left of most Americans, though not unusual for a native Oregonian.
Seeking:
I would like to find someone I enjoy spending time with--who enjoys spending time with me. I'm hoping to find someone who enjoys playing with me, but also quiet times reading or making a nice meal together. Ultimately, I am open to sharing all of my life with someone with whom there's that special spark, but I also enjoy getting to know new people and making new friends.
