I'm an almost-empty nester with one child still at home. As such, I've found that I have a lot more freedom and time to take care of myself, which includes finding someone special to spend time with. I love nature and all animals, and live with (only, lol) two cats. I love being outdoors, but am not a big fan of the winters in WI. I enjoy cooking, socializing, live music, and am looking forward to having more time to travel both within the U.S and internationally. I like meeting new people and trying new things; I've recently learned Latin dancing and have tried axe-throwing. I enjoy hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and to stay fit I regularly walk, yoga, and go to the gym. I try to keep my lifestyle as natural as possible and the environment is important to me.

I like a man who takes care of his body and mind- a healthy lifestyle is important to me. I like people who face the serious things but can also laugh at life. Open-mindedness, integrity, and honesty are very important to me- I can't be with someone if I don't respect them. Confidence is attractive, but arrogance or snobbery can make the most beautiful person ugly. A good sense of humor and intelligent conversation are extremely attractive to me.
