I am most passionate about having the best possible human experience. My top priority right now and always is to align my energy with my desires. I'm fascinated by existence; everything is simply enchanting. In the mid 1990s I turned my diet plant-based cold turkey in observance of nonviolence. I fast intermittently and let my food, exercise and meditation be my medicine; should extra be needed, my preference lies in natural remedies over synthetic drugs. I don't like smoking anything but occasionally burn sage and palo santo for the aroma therapy. Building and living in a beautiful rammed-earth house of my own design and surrounding it with permaculture food gardens is one of my big dreams.

 

For fun I like to joke, frolic and romp; dance, draw, paint and sculpt; visit museums, watch motion pictures, wade in the waves of the ocean, play card and board games; flip and dive into crystaline waters such as cenotes and springs; and listen to, create and perform music. The few things that I do to help stop planetary pollution include eating plant-based, avoiding single-use utensils and containers, refusing bags when shopping, buying used when possible, using public transportation when convenient, driving my vehicles to the ground, wearing my clothes to rags (which I use instead of paper towels), calling attention to personal and global issues (e.g. fast fashion, chronic stress, micro plastics, etc.) and disseminating information with solutions to the problems. 

 

To me being conscious means being aware of my emotional, mental and physical activity as it influences and is influenced by reality. Although I feel that I was born on a conscious path, I leaped forward in the mid 1990s persuaded by Hinduism. I follow the wisdom of all the teachings that I've explored but not any mentors because, in my humble opinion, the essence and purpose of the teachings is not to follow mentors but to endeavor to apply the wisdom of the teachings onto our daily lives. I would love to learn the healing modalities mentioned in a Steven Greer documentary where a deaf man regained his hearing over night when contacted by an extraterrestrial entity.
