My description:

Some of my possible (pseudo?) antinomies: I have traveled and lived on four continents, but bike and walk and occasionally uber around Houston; I am a jewish atheist; I have two citizenships but believe the nation-state is a narrow, confining, xenophobic enabling parochial amputation; I have the facade of a jock but a living room of a nerd; I want to eat my vegan cake but have it too, yet I often concede that life involves trade-offs and opportunity costs; I am a pessoptimist (thank you, Ed Said); I am a utopian realist (I vote); I am a radical skeptic who passionatley believes in the belief of reason; I am an existentialist who sometimes acts immortal; I am absurd, but this makes sense; I have some hair, but cut it off; I succeed and fail in being a failed Luddite; I decry reification, yet I am constucting my profile. My non-antinomy: I am a father.

You are loving and kind and supportive and think cirtically and will not eat animals and are a feminist who lives justice and care and are beautiful in your own way. Yet, you realize that you (and I and all people) are not perfect, and should relate accordingly. You look for a footnote and an aside and a non sequitur as a possibly profound iteration. You can be left handed or right handed or ambidexterous or one handed or no handed but are steadfasly left wing. You would like to read with me. You would like to discuss books and journals and the New York Times and The Nation and and NPR and Democracy Now and Nietzsche and Kafka and Arendt and sources that I currently have no conception of but of which you are utterly engaged with. You want to watch subtitiled films and various documentaries and art and listen to music, including classical, with me. You are honest yet realize that we all get lost in and depend upon our narratives and mythologies.
