If you are not both agnostic and (at minimum) vegetarian, please skip this profile! I have given it a go with men who are not and have concluded that these attributes are essential to me. Also, if your politics don’t tilt left or if you have any racism/homophobia/fear-of-the-other lurking in your heart, we would ultimately neither respect nor like each other.
Things about me that might be deal-breakers for you:
- Most people find me too direct, sometimes lacking tact, and a workaholic. I am a classic INTJ.
- I will correct your spelling/grammar even though I've heard this annoys humans. (I appreciate it when people return the favor.)
- I love all animals and love living with animals; they give me energy and much needed perspective. You might find this distressing if you don’t feel the same…or if you have serious allergies.
- The public people of the 20th century who inspire me are W.E.B. DuBois, Nelson Mandela, and Malcolm X.
- I think there are too many humans on the planet already (by several billion). I think anyone who has the means and desire to raise children should give the extant ones a loving home.
- Women and men are truly equal and I’m not interested in being treated like an object. If you think women are mysterious or magical or to be pedestalized, life is short: I would encourage you to economize your time and move on to the next profile!
- I'd much rather be alone than in a bad relationship; I'm an introvert and enjoy my own company.
- I prefer reading to watching TV, doing something outdoors over spending money, newspapers over the internet, and contemplative activities rather than quick, adrenaline pursuits.
