Watching the documentary forks over knives changed my life in a way. I had never been a big meat eater, and I typically ate eggs and fish. When I turned 21 I became lactose intolerant and that set me on my path of limiting my dependence upon animals products. I've always had a certain respect for animals as they haste typically unwillingly became food for many people at a price to their own life.
I now follow a plant based diet. Prior to that I did my best daily to be the healthiest person I could with the foods I ate.
I try to excercise daily and eat healthy and would love to meet someone who has a similar lifestyle. A little about me, I have currently competed in a few tough mudders, will be in the Ragnar relay, which is a run, from Madison to Chicago. I have completed a few half marathons and would like to participate in a full marathon.
I would love to meet someone who likes running, taking a walk, camping, swimming, hiking, biking, boating, snowboarding/skiing, and tubing both down a river or down a hill. I love to star gaze and look up at the night sky and wonder about where we came from.
I just like spending as much time outside as possible. I love animals, although I don't have any of my own. I always like trying new things and I enjoy traveling. I love to learn and read. A little background on me, I graduated with a degree in dietetics (food and nutritional health) I also have a degree in psychology with a minor in human development.
