I am a fairly busy person. I work as a support coordinator for developmentally disabled adults and love it. It is kind of like a paid activism. Also active in local animal rights community as well as the vegan community and various cross overs. Portland is perfect for me, which is why I call it home! I refuse to kill animals for food, although I use leather since I needed boots to climb mountains. Once I rationalized leather as a byproduct (don't know of any animals that are killed for their skins, other than for fur, which I would not wear) I get by even having leather furniture. Perhaps not perfectly consistent, but life is that way. I seldom cook anything but rice, sometimes pasta, and thus eat mostly raw food (why cook vegetables?) However, I doubt I could live without good, solid dark rye bread. Expect to live to 100 as long as I can be fit and active, just to prove its also a healthy diet (I'm 3rd generation as my grandmother began it in 1901). Exercise a lot, including riding my bikes nearly everyday and working out with weights 3X a week, so I'm far more fit than most over 50. In fact, I'm much stronger than I ever was in high school - then I couldn't do one chinup, now I can do 15.

Seeking: Seeking a true vegetarian. Both my exwives would not eat meat at home, only fish which I could live with, - but now I'd like to find someone who is truly an ethical vegetarian.
