I have substance, love conversation, and then also enjoy just listening to the silence. I am unique and intricate.

It is my desire to be a compassionate individual. I love being kind to people, but I'm not a trumpet to be played. I'm fairly direct and up front. I am not perfect by any means, don't I know it.

I love adventure, take care of myself, am healthy, and love to breathe clean mountain air. I have a great sense of humor. I love to hike and travel when the opportunity arises , but I also love to spend time at home.

I'm very optimistic about the things I see ahead. I believe the future is going to be better than the past. I get up every day, stay optimistic, and know that with a little hard work, the right choices, the future is going to be better than the past.

My most recent book was "Japanese Women Don't Get Old or Fat". I read mostly about diet, I'm a registered dietitian. These days I watch mostly food and culture related documentary's on Netflix. I have enjoyed many broadway plays, musicals. I go through phases with music, most recently I listen to Queens of the stone age, Fuel, Miley Cyrus with her country sounding stuff and The White Stripes. I love most seafood, but about 80% of my diet is strict Vegan, plant based diet for health reasons. I'm a diabetic educator and I see how food destroys people's health with often catastrophic results, and how the chicken, beef and pork industry is destroying most industrialized nation's health and the enviroment. I often listen to shows on NPR while driving or doing things around the house. What about you?
