I was born and raised in Brooklyn and love that there are always new things to discover in my borough and throughout the city. I went to undergrad at the university of Delaware (yes... Dela-'where'?) and received my Masters in Urban Planning and Policy in NYC. Work for me has always been about giving back, so I'm glad I've been able to find that in all of my jobs. I also love to give back to my friends and family and that usually involves giving homemade gifts, food or advice.

I like to have a plan during my day, on the weekends, in life... but love to be spontaneous at the same time. I like even numbers, naps, terrariums and pottery... I enjoy the small things in life (so I am not high maintenance). Being active and healthy is really important to me. I'm an independent, self-aware person, but I am looking for someone to share the fun/serious times with and continue to grow with. Some may unique, but I consider myself as being quirky. I can be sarcastic so need someone who can give it back. I've been fortunate to have travelled to many places around the world and I want to continue to explore new places... So I need a travel buddy.

I currently work for an organization that provides housing subsidy for low income individuals and families and those who are chronically street homeless, mentally ill, and living with HIV/AIDs. I've recently taken up running and have done several 10K's... the goal is to do some longer races so wish me luck! I'm always looking for new ways to improve myself and sometimes that involves watching Oprah specials.

I’m really good at being on time, a good listener and getting information out of people without them realizing it's happening. On my down time, you'll find me perfecting my cooking, canning, and craft projects... don't worry, I'm not secretly an 80 year old woman in disguise. I love cooking and baking, so I do it very often. Though I do enjoy the vegan restaurants the City has to offer, I just need someone to tag along with me J I also find that I am able to connect with all different types of people and all ages. I've loved all of the diversity that I've been surrounded by through all my jobs and living in NYC.
