Hi!

I'm a pretty simple and very sincere person.  One of the highest compliments I've ever received is that I am an "exquisite listener."  I was flattered by the sentiment and do try my best to be fully present in all that I do.  I am compassionate, loyal, creative, and thoughtful.  I love family and friends and enjoy spending time with them.

I have recently become vegan after having been vegetarian for 25 years.  I became a vegetarian for environmental and ethical reasons.  I have become vegan because of my strengthened commitment to decreasing my negative impact on the planet and other living beings.  

I absolutely love nature.  Everything about it.  I have a passion for photography and enjoy hiking, often with my camera in tow... sometimes "borrowing" images and other times simply being present.  I enjoy capturing a moment that unveils hidden or unnoticed beauty.  

I am a creative person who loves the arts.  I studied fine arts with a focus on drawing, sculpture, and installation work.  I found my passion for photography after taking a trip to Japan to visit the gardens of Kyoto.  An amazing experience!  I have recently reconnected with drawing and have a few projects in the works.

I do find it really difficult to describe myself (I'm not much of a salesperson).  So I do thank you for visiting my profile and wish you joy and peace in your journey!
