Hardwick, new_jersey vegetarians, vegans and raw foodist events and singles dating

I have been on this site before and find myself returning after a long hyatus from the dating world.  So, here goes... I am a pretty happy person...seems to be hardwired in my DNA.  I do love life in all its complexities.  I love the deep stillness of being in nature but the excitement of a city event feeds my sense of adventure.  I love to travel and try to visit places outside of the US at least once a year!  (Just returned from 10 days working in Brazil!)  I love hitting a well worn trail or discovering something brand new.  I am not bound by convention;  I'm pretty independent person and not afraid to keep learning.  I do love to laugh. Laughter is the gift that helps us traverse some of life's more difficult terrains.  I keep in shape; walk, work out, hike, (went rock climbing a couple of times and despite the exhaustion and bruises, will probably go again).  I used to work at a major teaching hospital in NJ but I now own my own business.  I still have dreams of returning to music; used to sing professionally and I miss the creativity of it.  I am active in areas of social justice.  I care deeply about the enviornment and the rights of children and animals and am involved in activities that support this.  Some of my other interests are dancing (though I haven't been in a very long time, I used to teach it professionally!), doing energy work (am a certified Healing Touch practitioner and instructor) and finding my own way in life.  What is missing from a beautiful life is someone to share it with.  I am hoping, this time, to find that elusive connection with someone; where the intimacy of laughter on a first date, turns into deisire and eventually becomes a life where two people actively choose each other ..... every day....
