Hello, I am looking forward to meeting you. I am emerging from a longterm relationship, which followed a longterm marriage. I'm quite shy, but please say hi and you will find me friendly. I am happy to make a fool of myself for children and dogs: it will take a little longer with you. I like to believe I have a soft heart and a hard, analytical Brooklyn head. My humor tends to be self-deprecating, but once I know you, a dry NY way of thinking and observing will emerge.
My music loves include Alice in Chains, Sublime, the Roots, Ella singing the Verve Songbook. Hiking in the Blue Hills is important in my life. I am something of a bleeding heart for the vulnerable, so animals and the elderly are important concerns of mine.
I'm not high maintenance: although I love going out, I'm equally happy stacking wood, running errands with friends, or taking a hike (right now in MA or NH, but if we meet, who knows?).
