I love: people, nature, animals, wildflowers, bringing you flowers, conversation, cuddlilng with you as we talk or watch a movie or read, good food, books, music, and movies. I am neat, clean, and have learned to be orderly. I enjoy walks, and quiet talks - silence can be nice too. Making a difference in the world is important, locally, and globally. Relationships are life itself. Possessions are not my focus, though quality matters. Dressing up to go out is fun (Ralph Lauren), but jeans and a sweatshirt are fine too.
I work full time, have a lovely off-the-grid home on the gorgeous American River in the middle of the wilderness, and while things are good, and I am by nature happy, sharing the small things, walks, sunsets, talks, a nice meal (I can cook), adds a richness to life!
I am slender, fit, and strong. like to hike, swim, climb mountains, walk, run, but am not pushy or competitve. I cut and split my own firewood. like to garden, and maintain the property.
Intelligence testing says that I am brilliant in some areas, and quite average in others.
Politics: I am not easily labeled, neither republican, nor democrat, neither conservative nor liberal, though closer to the latter. Get to know me, and you will see that I am a mix of fairness and compassion, justice and mercy. A paragraph on a website is only a starting point. Talk to me!
Religion: I haven't been to church in years, but I do believe in God, and in being kind to others. I distrust organized religion, but love community.
I hate hunting, trapping, cruelty to animals of any kind. That is one of the reasons I don't eat meat.
I love great art, classical and folk music, architecture, museums, galleries, etc. Words, word games, brain exercises, Sudoku, crosswords, all such are great fun, in moderation.
I am easy to get along with, avoid confrontation (yet am willing to discuss things), and enjoy making others happy.
I am affectionate, warm, and kind, as I believe these are what make life worth living.
I have quite a number of very diverse friends and we enjoy one another's company and coversation.
