My description:

I've been total vegetarian for more than 29 years; life member of The American Vegan Society and of the Vegetarian Society of Colorado; my raw-foods vegan diet is mostly a result of my attending the convention in Boulder, Colorado, in 1998, and my hearing there and reading words of H. Jay Dinshah and several vegan physicians, authors, and scholars.

I exclude all animal products from diet; I never wear silk, wool, or leather, and avoid them almost entirely elsewhere.  My health is much improved and preserved by my doing strenuous and vigorous as well as easy exercises, drinking nothing but pure water, and eating plenty of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds.  I have compassion for almost all sentient creatures, especially those with central nervous systems, clear proof to my mind that they can experience misery and feel pain; I desire not to be a cause of pain, misery, suffering, or violence to anyone.

I approve and accept amost every reason I've ever seen or heard for anyone's being vegetarian.  I respect the rights and beliefs of others to live in ways that they think right, and I'm adaptable to beliefs, opinions, desires, preferences, and lifestyles unlike my own.  But I'm unlikely to deviate from such a total vegetarian raw-foods diet as the one I've so firmly committed myself to for so many years.

Seeking:

Most of what I hope for is not necessary but ideal, and I never impose on anyone a necessity or desire for conformity to any of it.  I incline to learn about and acquire interests of people I associate with.  And I expect of myself the same virtues, interests, and inclinations that I hope to find in her.

I hope to find someone with whom I can establish a close, true, enduring friendship or marriage, especially a nonreligious healthy and health-conscious vegan or total vegetarian woman who exercises often, smokes nothing, never drinks alcohol nor any animal's milk, but eats plenty of raw vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds; who appreciates a man's character and intellect more than his money and physical measurements; a loyal open-minded fun-loving romantic woman polite and respectful in personal relations, who knows how to cultivate enjoyable intimacy, is a forward-looking, optimistic problem solver who seeks things, actions, qualities, and the like, to approve, admire, and appreciate; evinces many such virtues as patience, benevolence, tranquillity, compassion, cheerfulness, temperance, frugality, and straightforwardness; who cares about matters involving civil government or public policy, is curious about a wide variety of subjects, enjoys long, urbane, profound conversations as well as humorous and lighthearted ones, and has a tasteful sense of humor.
