My description: I am a botanist during the summer and a ski/snowboard instructor during the winter. I'm very active, if not a little over the top. If I'm not outside hiking or camping, I'm running, swimming, or riding my bike. I like being outside as much as I can but enjoy inside activities as well. I'm a huge fan of alternative forms of music and movies and if I'm inside I'd rather be doing one of those if not reading poetry. I'm not materialistic and I'm not into fashion beyond technical and efficient. I like to think of myself as generally laid back and I'm usually pretty quiet although I can get into exorbitant conversations, given the right topic. I've been vegetarian on and off since a child, and strictly vegetarian since high school. What else? Um, I am a registered green party member, but very open-minded and am accepting of most ideas and lifestyles. I've been as of late, getting into Mahayana Buddhism as a way of coping with American culture. I've traveled much of the United States and would like to go further.
Seeking: Nevada can be a rough state to find anyone of similar interests, particularly of environmental, vegetarian, and vegan fashion. At this point in life, I'm just looking for other friendly and compassionate human beings. If something develops beyond that, great, but I have no expectations. I generally would prefer someone who is also active. I'd potentially like to be more involved with volunteering and would love someone who is motivational or we can motivate each other.
