My description:
I moved to the Boston area from the Midwest (Michigan and then Wisconsin). For my day job, I am an astronomer. I'm fortunate enough to have a career that I like, especially one that helps keep things in perspective. I have been vegan for about a decade and care passionately about social justice, feminism, and animal rights. In general, though, I am very easy going, open-minded, and patient. My hobbies include participating in a feminist science fiction book club, going to feminist meet-up groups, spending time with friends, and (formerly) volunteering at animal sanctuaries. I live with one cuddily cat of ambiguous morality named Willow.
Seeking:
I hope to meet someone who is compassionate, caring, wise, confident, and understanding. Someone with whom I can cook fantastic vegan meals, have deep conversations, and try new things.
